Gladstone Airport Runway, Qld – Foamed Bitumen

In June 2010, SPA undertook part service foamed bitumen stabilisation works as part of the $45M redevelopment works at Gladstone Airport to improve existing infrastructure and increase serviceability levels for future growth.

The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) carried out a major rehabilitation of the Bruce Highway and other major North Queensland roads following the rainfall events of 2008-2009 wet season.

SPA has recently completed another successful pavement rehabilitation project on a mine access road in Queensland. The project scope involved the rehabilitation of approximately 4km of existing pavement.

Reconstruction of Longlands Gap – Herberton Road

In May 2014, SPA successfully completed delivery of PEND 1760 on behalf of Qld Transport and Main Roads in the Far North Region. The project involved the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Longlands Gap – Herberton Rd over a duration of approximately 7 months.
